Since the Porsche Plant Leipzig was founded in 2002, the production site in Saxony has stood for change and flexibility. Today, three drive concepts - petrol, hybrid and all-electric vehicles - can be manufactured flexibly on one assembly line at the Leipzig site. Two model series, the compact SUV Macan and the sports car saloon Panamera, are currently being produced in Leipzig. With more than 4,600 employees, Porsche Leipzig is one of the largest employers in the region.
