Transformation Pioneers in the Leipzig Region

The digital and ecological transformation of the mobility sector is driven by innovation. The companies from the Leipzig region presented here also stand for innovation. They are already operating successfully in growth fields such as batteries, recycling, decarbonisation, e-charging infrastructure and connected cars. With new technologies, products and services, they are helping to shape the mobility of tomorrow. As part of the “Transformation Pioneers” campaign, they present the locational advantages of the region.

The campaign is funded by the German federal government as part of the project “MoLeWa – Mobilität Leipzig im Wandel” (Mobility Leipzig in Transition) and is implemented by Invest Region Leipzig (IRL) on behalf of the regional business development agencies. MoLeWa is one of several regional transformation networks funded nationwide. Together with local companies along the automotive value chain, it aims to advance the transition in drive technologies, mobility, energy and climate protection in the Leipzig region. MoLeWa project duration: 07/2022–12/2026.
